The Step-by-Step

Start writing a short bio:
- Your name
- Your company (or your connection to Venue 13 — eg. performer, producer, co-creator)
  Example: Hi, I’m Alex Rivers, owner of Craft Spot, and I will be carrying out the Make It Yourself workshop at Venue 13 this August.
Next write your answers:
- You’ll be more relaxed and clear when recording.
- Keep each answer short and natural, just a few sentences is perfect.
Find a quiet, well-lit place.
- No background noise
- Sit facing a window or lamp (no backlighting).
Use your phone or computer to record.

Recording Tips:
- Read the question aloud, then PAUSE for 2–3 seconds
- Read your answer slowly and clearly
- Pause again before the next question, as this helps our editor create beautiful cuts
End your video with a mention of your show or event or simply by saying
“We look forward to seeing you at Venue 13 this August.”
