Venue 13 have partnered with Urban Arcane Games to bring you Valkyries, an inclusive, women-only, beginner and expert-friendly tabletop game session. Join Catillin, Head Valkyrie and Co-Founder of Urban Arcane Games for two unforgettable Dungeons & Dragons sessions designed especially for women who’ve ever wanted to try D&D but perhaps felt a little intimidated.

Whether you’re a complete beginner, D&D-curious or have already played before, this is your chance to roll dice, and immerse your character into a fully guided, story-rich “one-shot” adventure that starts and ends in one spectacular session.

What’s a One-Shot?

 A self-contained D&D adventure. In just 4 hours, you’ll:

• Choose your character from a selection of pre-generated options
• Join a group of fellow adventurers
• Embark on a thrilling, roleplay-fuelled journey
• Complete a full story arc—no previous experience needed!

What Do I Need to Bring?

Absolutely nothing! We provide everything you need to play such as character sheets, dice, guidance from an experienced DM (Dungeon Master), and magical vibes included. Snacks and light drinks will be available at the venue, and Market 13 food vendors will be on hand for extra fuel during your adventure.
