Soft Serve Cartel
Founded by vegan friends Ben and Nico, this passionate team has earned a cult following for their iconic Dole pineapple twist and creamy oat-based vanilla soft serve beloved by vegans and non-vegans alike. Soft Serve Cartel has become a highlight for foodies across the UK and this August, they’re teaming up and collaborating with Venue 13 for the full run of the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, bringing their signature sunshine-in-a-cone to 3 Lochend Place.
The Vegan Sora
The Vegan Sora, “Sora” being Roman slang for “Mrs”, was born from the friendship of Dea and Maddalena, two Roman besties with a serious love for food, tradition, and shaking things up. On a mission to prove that delicious Italian classics don’t need to come from animals to be mouthwatering, they started experimenting with bold vegan flavours and haven’t looked back.
Under the Vegan Sora umbrella came Sora Lella, Scotland’s first and only vegan Roman restaurant, and her boujee sister Sora Diana. Recently, the two have merged forces to continue spreading the plant-based gospel of proper Italian cooking.
And now, for a special Fringe pop-up with Venue 13, Sora Lella is BACK to serve up some seriously tasty Roman treats. And yes, there will be carbonara!
The Tuskers
The Tuskers brings the bold and vibrant flavours of Sri Lanka to Venue 13 with a standout range of fully plant-based curry options. Their vegan Sri Lankan dishes are naturally dairy- and gluten-free, bursting with authentic spices and home-cooked warmth.
Considerit Chocolate & Doughnuts
Considerit is on a mission to make plant-based indulgence the new normal. Renowned for crafting some of the best doughnuts in Edinburgh, this local favourite offers handmade vegan doughnuts, chocolate, and ice cream that never compromise on taste or quality.
Shore Seaweed
